Middle Neighborhoods Initiative
Our Goal.
We have a long term commitment to maintaining the stability of Northwest Philadelphia middle neighborhoods.
What We Do.
Our in-house contractor team and subcontractors provide no-cost repairs for homeowners on an ongoing basis.
Our repairs aim to revitalize overlooked but critical neighborhoods.

Why It Matters.
Middle income neighborhoods are in danger of slipping through the cracks of public and private support and are at a high risk of evictions and foreclosures.
These Philadelphia neighborhoods represent a critical yet often overlooked component of what makes our city thrive. Neighborhoods such as West Oak Lane, for example, are neither experiencing a real estate boom nor suffering from immediate crisis, thus they are not eligible for funding and are at a high risk of evictions and foreclosures, which further exacerbate the situation.
RTP has a long-term commitment to fill this gap and provide critical repairs in middle incomeneighborhoods.
