| Looking at life through the eyes of a RTP homeowner helps a team focus on undertaking the most essential repairs to give a family a decent place to live. Conceived and curated by Marianne Bernstein, the multi-media exhibition Shelter, provides us with a new level of insight into homeowners' lives. Join us for the Opening Reception during the First Person Arts Festival to see the results of collaborations between 14 artists and 10 homeowners. |
Face to Face's Washeteria is a new take on warm-safe-dry. Visitors can shower and do their laundry while participating in the Dining Room and other on-site services and programs. Opus Foundation's sponsorship and RTP volunteers were the primary drivers for this project. To show off the Washeteria and expanded space for its Health, Legal, and Social Services Centers Face to Face is hosting an Open House on October 24. Join us! Click here for details. |
If you've seen a new face leading a volunteer team on a Rebuilding Day, chances are that he or she found RTP through the HGTV-sponsored project for veterans in transition. Many first timers have continued to volunteer on projects. Watch RTP in action through HGTV's eyes by tuning in to the broadcast premiere of Change the World: American Heroes on Wednesday, November 11 at 8 PM on HGTV.
