| We are delighted to help homeowners in need in special ways during the holidays. Eagles' Brian Westbrook, through his charity Brian's Blessings, joined RTP in giving away all the fixin's for a Thanksgiving dinner to 50 families. He said, “I want to show them the love I have for them whether I'm on the field or not.” Local news captured Brian's kindness. Partnering with RTP again, Brian will give toys to children in Southwest Philadelphia for Christmas. |
RTP is the first-time recipient of a $20,000 grant from Women Helping Others, a Dallas-based foundation that mobilizes the generosity of women to empower other women, children, and families. The WHO Foundation epitomizes the belief that a dollar can make a difference – very simpatico with RTP! Many thanks for the generosity of all who have shared their good fortune with others. Watch a special tribute to the women of Rebuilding Together Philadelphia. |
In O. Henry's story Della cuts her long beautiful hair to buy a chain for her husband's watch. Jim sells his watch to buy tortoiseshell combs for Della's hair. It's a timeless tale of sacrifice, love and value. You too can be magi. Making a gift to RTP, especially during these challenging economic times, will bring joy to families, leverage the volunteers' energies to make essential home repairs, and have a lasting impact. Thank you! |
