PUTTING OUR VOLUNTEERS
TO WORK
WALKING THE TALK CELEBRATING OUR 20th ANNIVERSARY
1,000 volunteers are poised to make RTP real in the lives of low-income homeowners this spring. Your gift to RTP would be put to work immediately, outfitting the volunteers for fixing broken windows, repairing and painting walls, installing smoke alarms, and so much more. Learn more about how you can help RTP with your time, talent, or treasury. St. Luke's of Glenside is paving the way for future generations of service to RTP. They have recruited heavily to boost the congregation's participation in its long standing house management team. On April 3, St. Luke's School offered a special Children's Mass with the theme Know Greater Love by Serving in honor of Steve Seweryn's life and work. Monsignor Flood announced that the Chapel House (where Steve had his office) will be named the Seweryn Center. April 1989 marked the culmination of RTP's (then Christmas in April of Philadelphia's) first year of work to help homeowners in need. Celebrate 20 years of neighbors helping neighbors by attending a reception on Friday, May 15 from 5-7 PM. It will be held on Penn's campus during its Alumni/Reunion weekend. Whether you attended Wharton/Penn or not, please come and share in the RTP spirit. To R.S.V.P. contact jenw@rebuildingphilly.org. Visit www.wharton.upenn.edu/alumni/
