Gift Registry
You can "register" at RTP for your wedding, milestone birthday, or other special occasion. This alternative to a traditional gift registry lets you express a commitment to improving the quality of life for low-income communities. Contact Jen Wootten if you want guidance or support in asking your friends and family to make gifts to RTP in lieu of tangible presents.

Endowment Fund
Volunteers at our spring 2009 block build in Germantown: Mel McGrath, Micki Keane, Kathy Seweryn, Dan Schryer, Marguerite Young and Jeannie Schryer Executive Director Carrie Rathmann with two of our newest volunteers, Casey and Jeannie Schryer

Learn more about why Dan took his daughters Casey and Jeannie across the country to be part of RTP's Germantown Block Build.

The need to do more is a prevalent feeling among the RTP Community. Accordingly, RTP's endowment was created to generate additional monies to support roofing and other projects that directly affect low-income homeowners. The endowment is invested and the principal will not be invaded. Income derived from the investment will be used to support homeowners in need according to Board policy. Your gift to RTP's endowment will help you affect low-income communities for generations to come.

After initial transfers of funds from RTP's reserves to its endowment, the RTP endowment has grown over time in two ways: 1) Through gifts given in memory or in honor of someone whether it be a birthday, wedding, anniversary or death of a loved one 2) Through gifts made directly to the endowment by those who are particularly interested in supporting RTP for the long term. Currently, RTP's endowment is holding more than $117,000 in perpetuity.

Many thanks to the following individuals and institutions who have made a gift(s) to the general endowment fund. (Note cumulative giving since April 2005 is presented.)
